The 8th Regiment was one of three units at Migalovo that were equipped with the AN-22 from mid of the 1970s. “Antei” 05-10 was the sole aircraft to be painted in camouflage; it was used for flights from and to Afghanistan. Above the main landing gear is a chaff / flare countermeasure system to protect the aircraft from anti-aircraft Missiles.
